The Forbidden City covers an area of 72 hectares ,it started to built in 1406 and finished in 1420 , It was the palace of Ming and Qing dynasties for a total of 491 years . There are 24 emperors who lived inside . In 1987, it was listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The layout is Front Court and Rear Palace ,which means the front court for state affairs and the rear palace as the living quarters .There are Meridian Gate (Wumen) ,as the entrance and following six Palaces arrange at central axis way .There are more than 1 million local works and 100 thousands artisants who use 14 years to build , It is Solemn , Megnificent and splendid. It is a huge and great work in the World . Shichahai hu tong area is most beautiful lake with tea hours , bars and small gifts shops around it. There are more than 100 old hutongs it has an history of more than 800 years Acrobatic is a national treasure of China , it attracted all world people to enjoy the show , it is called a life long must watch a program.
Your Beijing tour itinerary
Both driver adn i will pick you up at 8:30am in your hotel lobby , we will visit the forbidden city , use 2 and half hours to visit the biggest places in the world .around 12 oclock we have a local food in the local restaurant . 1:30pm to visit hutong area , by rickshaw around shichahai lake ,visit a local family home . 4:00pm arrived the theater to enjoy the acrobatic show .5:20 pm finished .it is one hour time . around 6:00pm go back to hotel . If you booking the tour within the 7 days we can't get the forbbiden city tickets we can buy it at the tickets office .
