How did the laborers build Wall in 2000 years ago in that hard environment? If the wall in the Forbidden City could be talk, it will tell you the stories of emperors. If the wall in the old city could talk, it will talk to you about local people's life, and the real culture in China. Now, I will be the "old wall in Beijing". I want to show you the beautiful places and tell you the stories of Beijing. What happened here in the past 3000 years. Beijing is the capital of China. I was born in China and took my family to see Beijing, a place I have been to once as a child. Alice provided a detailed itinerary before the trip with very clear and fair pricing. She kept communicating with us via WeChat so we were very well informed of everything. The tour was fantastic. She spent 3 days with us and organised all our entry tickets. It was just so hassle free! She had a great knowledge of Chinese history, both ancient and present. It was also great to hear from her about living like a local. The restaurant for breakfast and lunch can be as local as you want! We had a driver with a luxury 7 seater car with ventilated seats! It was spotless, and our driver Jason was courteous and professional and also spoke good English. Overall, I would recommend Alice to my friends and family should they come to Beijing.
The three of us (myself, wife, and adult son) went on this private tour in Beijing on Feb 21 - 22, 2025. Before the tour started, Alice, our guide, offered to arrange airport pickup for us. We agreed and are glad we did. Using one driver and a Buick business car (a luxury minivan with captain's chair seating) made the transportation arrangements easy. We didn't have to worry at all about travel logistics. Alice made all of the travel and site visit arrangements including ticketing and reservations (required for Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City). We didn't have to worry about a thing. Alice took care of everything. During the site visits, Alice explained the history, cultural significance, and present-day situation for all the sites. She was informative and fun to listen to. Alice made our visit to Beijing a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tour.

Day 1: The Forbidden City, Old Hutong (the old town of city) , and the acrobatic show. - I will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and enjoy the Forbidden City tour with me. - Have a lunch in the local restaurant. - After lunch, we go the old Hutong area where is the old part of Beijing city. During the Hutong tour you could enjoy the Hutong rickshaw tour and to visit a traditional courtyard in the local family. - After the one day tour you could watch the acrobatic show in the theater. - Day 2: The Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace. - In the morning, Driving 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall to enjoy the history of the Great Wall and walking on the Great Wall. - Lunch Time - Driving to the Summer Palace. - We will take you go back to the hotel and finish our happy tour!
