You can take the chairlift up to reach the Wall and enjoy the beautiful scenery According to historic record, Mutianyu Great Wall was supervised and built up by a subordinate general to Zhu Yuanzhang, Xu Da based on the relic of the Great Wall in Northern Qi . In 1987, Mutianyu Great Wall was appraised as one of the 16 scenic spots in new Beijing and in 1992, it was appraised as the World Best of Beijing Tourism. Wanna know more stories? - Pick up at the hotel and drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall(less crowded section located in Huairou, takes about 1. 5 hours drive by the high way), the Wall was first built in Northern and Southern dynasty over 1000 years ago and renovated in Ming dynasty by QiJiGuang general. - Take the Great Wall shuttle bus and chairlift up to reach the WAll - Visit the Wall - Take the chairlift or toboggan down - Lunch in a local restaurant at the bottom of the Wall - Drive back to the hotel
