This evening food tour is through Beijing's most atmospheric hutongs, where the city comes alive after dark. We'll taste authentic local bites, stroll through alleys, and discover the charm of old Beijing. Starting at Andingmen Inner Street, we'll begin with a classic Beijing snack. This quiet street offers a taste of local life away from the crowds. We'll then walk along Gulou East Street, a lively stretch filled with food stalls and neon lights. Here, you can try yangrou chuan (lamb skewers) grilled over charcoal. Next is Nanluoguxiang, one of Beijing's most famous hutong lanes. Lined with trendy shops, cozy cafés, and traditional snack stalls, it’s a lively spot where old Beijing charm meets modern energy, perfect for a casual stroll. We'll continue to Houhai, a scenic lakeside area. Our final stops include Yandai Xiejie (Pipe Smoking Lane). We’ll end with a view of the illuminated Bell and Drum Towers, a fitting finale to the evening.
Route: Andingmen Inner Street → Gulou East Street → Nanluoguxiang → Houhai → Yandai Xiejie → Bell and Drum Towers Perfect for: Food lovers, photographers, and anyone wanting to experience Beijing’s hutongs after dark.
