Overview of your Beijing tour
The Summer Palace is just like a paradise , It is combination both southern and northern of Chinese garden construction arts I have guided more then 800 tour groups , when they asked me where do I think the best place , I always told them I like the Summer Palace best. It's total of 293 hectares, consist of three parts : mountain area, Lake area and emperors residential area. There are towers bridges pagodas pavilions corridors boats and islands, 728 meters long corridors covered 10000 color paintings. It is the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. It was listed on the World Heritage List in 1998. There are more than 60 Famous Scenic Spots inside, each part of has its unique stories. The Tower of Buddhist incense is the landmark of the Summer palace . The Temple of Heaven was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties would worship the god of heaven and pray for good harvest. it is the largest architectural complex in the world for rituals to pay homage to heaven.MONDAY CLOSED
Your Beijing tour itinerary
1)8:30am pick you up from your hotel lobby or your location. Drive one hour to Summer palace. Walking around emperor and empress's residence and walk along 728 meters long corridor enjoy 8000 paintings inside, spend one hour sightseeing. Then by boat to an island walk and take pictures.Winter time from Nov. to Apr. The kunming lake will frozen we will change sightseeing boat to tower of the Buddhist incense area 11:30am leaving and go to a local restaurant have lunch. 2)2:00pm arrive at the Temple of Heaven . 3:30pm leaving and 4:30pm go back to hotel. 5)This tour can be customized, please feel free to contact me with your questions
