Rainbow Valley, Petroglyphs and overview over the Salt Mountain Range.

On the way to the Rainbow Valley and Yerbas Buenas, there might be herds of wild guanacos by the road, for sure flock of birds flying around, in a beautiful and colorful scenery. In Yerbas Buenas there are ancient engravings made by the "Atacameños", this place is one of the most important archaeological sites to visit. They traveled long distances from the Atacama salt flat in caravans with llamas, they carried their goods to exchange with tribes living by the Loa river. Rainbow valley, hills made of clay with plutonic rocks, make the scenery unreal, it looks like the landscape from a science fiction movie.
