Geysers del Tatio - Full Day Trip to the Andes Mountains

The Tatio geysers are a geothermal area, located in the Andes mountain range. There are few places like this in the world, of very extreme conditions naturally brought together, from the the altitude, the mountains, and of course the geyser itself, making this experience unforgettable. today it's possible to easily reach these heights. We're going to visit these places together, finding ourselves surrounded by volcanoes, where the boiling waters in the depths of the earth emerge. I will help you understand the geological processes that form this place, and how fragile these ecosystems can be. All my years working in tourism at this area have given me knowledge and preparation for guaranteeing safety in places like this

·We'll leave from San Pedro de Atacama early in the morning and travel an hour and a half to the Tatio Geyser area. ·Upon arrival, we'll have to pass by the entrance control to the reserve, which can also serve as a bathroom stop. ·Then we'll proceed to enter the two existing sectors available to tour around to see the geysers, each one taking around half an hour, therefore the full geyser visit takes approximately one hour. ·Afterwards, we'll leave the geysers area to have breakfast, in a place near the route. ·Later, we'll begin the return, but we'll have two stops along the way: the first one will be at the Vado de Putana viewpoint. ·Our second stop before returning will be at the Vado Machuca viewpoint. ·At last, we'll finally return to San Pedro.
