Where do I start? Melanie was fantastic. We were a 3 women group and lifelong friends. Melanie provided us the perfect experience of Victoria. A big item for us was the Butchart Gardens. She prepared us so well :-) for our visit. The visit to the Gardens was a seamless and lifetime memory. The adventures didn't stop there with Melanie ensuring stops at key spots related to history and indigenous people. She also pointed out a few of our favorite side line activities: shopping and chocolate! But NO WORRIES if shopping or chocolate don't interest you, Melanie will TAILOR it beautifully to the experiences, sites and stope you and your group are interested in. We asked her to arrange lunch and it was a lovely place on the water with delicious food. Oh and fun name: Surly Mermaid. Perfect for a friends trip. Thank you Melanie for helping us created some lifetime memories and the joy of visiting Victoria!

Melanie K. is the perfect person to show you all that Victoria has to offer. She is knowledgeable, friendly, humorous, and tuned into the guest's interests and needs. We had a pre-planned itinerary that she modified based on our changing priorities. She gave us a wonderful taste of Victoria, and could have gone deeper if that what was we wanted. Although she has done this a million times, she has the knack for making you feel that special and unique. Visiting Victoria and the environs without her is a mistake. We will surely engage Melanie again.
This was an awesome tour and I couldn't have asked for a better guide. Melanie seemed to know all of the history, architecture, flowers, roads to take, everything. She was always accommodating, verifying whether something would or wouldn't be of interest to me, and made sure there was time for everything. We saw so much and gave me so much history and perspective. If we come back to Victoria again, which I hope we do, we would look no further than her to take care of us.

We'll meet at your agreed upon location. Enjoy a scenic marine drive along Juan de Fuca Straight. 360 mountain top view at Mount Tolmie. Take it all in on this scenic countryside drive. Butchart Gardens - 1 hr 30 min. to 2hr 30 min. Self guided walking tour. Option to ad Butterfly Gardens. City tour includes: Beacon Hill Park, world's tallest totem pole, Government House, Craigdarroch Castle from outside or option to go inside, Historical Chinatown, LoJo Shopping district, Inner Harbor with back drop of Empress hotel and Parliament Buildings, Fisherman's Wharf. Grab a bite to eat at the Butchart Gardens cafe or High Tea in the original family home of the Butchart Gardens reservations required or local fair along the way throughout the day. We can stop and enjoy one of our local's favourite cidery or wineries. Local favourite Wineries open Friday to Sunday's. End tour back at your chosen location. Sequence of events is dependent on time of day. * Craigdarroch Castle hours Wednesday to Sunday.
