I’ve always felt a deep connection to this special place I call home—growing up exploring rainforest trails, beachcombing along the coast, and spending time on our lakes and ocean. That love of the land and sea has been passed down through generations, with my family involved in farming, fishing, homebuilding, and the skilled trades—a proud island tradition. Before becoming a guide, I ran our family renovation business and developed a lasting passion for home design and real estate—something I still enjoy today. I’m a true nature lover and also inspired by the vibrant local scene in Victoria—from our incredible food and wine to art, boutiques, and unique local finds. I’ve always had a love for travel and connecting with people from around the world. Melanie was the perfect tour guide for my daughter and me. We only had a few hours but she made the most of them. We had to overcome some hurdles with late ship arrival on a sunday. Melanie made sure our top priority of the Butchart garders we were able to get in just under the last entry, enjoy our stay and then drive us around to the other highlights of Victoria. Full of information and ready to make the tour you want. We will be using her next time we are back.
Melanie is an excellent tour guide. Her love of the island and knowledge of the island comes through in this tour. We saw many sites but never felt rushed. Our visit to Butchart Gardens was enhanced by her presence. I highly recommend this tour to first time visitors to Victoria.
We decided to see the city instead, because we had such a short stop on our cruise. Melanie showed us the beauty of the city and we were able to get lovely photos. She is charming and fun. We enjoyed her company very much. You can't go wrong with one of her tours!

This is a faster pace tour, I also have a 5hr tour if you like to have a bit more time.
