You will be enchanted by the city of Victoria, situated at the southern tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, a place rich in ecological splendour, with history kept alive in its many heritage buildings and harbours. Victoria is the unique place I chose as my home because I love and appreciate a place keen on protecting nature and animals, and a place that promotes culture and the art as well as the acknowledgement of its First Nation people. This region of the world is spectacular. The climate is the mildest in Canada. Our summers are never too hot and winters temperatures rarely freeze. The magical beauty of Salt Spring Island, my favourite summer tour, is only a short ferry ride from Victoria. It is a fantastic place to explore, especially with me, your local guide who knows the scenic routes and very special places in this beautiful part of the world. I love my work and I invested in a beautiful van, comfortable and with big windows. I have excellent driving skills and have a license that would let me drive a bus. Both vehicles are passenger licensed. My aim is to make you the visitor, have a wonderful experience doing and seeing things that interest you and that will give you wonderful memories of your trip to Victoria and Vancouver Island. The parks, beaches, gardens, the spectacular landscape and quaint colourful communities inspire my tour plans that I set out to create especially with you in mind. I take time to create a tour that is personalized just for you and your people so that you see and do what you like and at your pace. In this private tour of Victoria, you will visit special historical streets, and narrow alley ways of shops, in the Oldest China Town in Canada, and in the heart of Victoria. Discover my favourite park, Beacon Hill, with the tallest totem pole in the world. We will visit small marinas with floating houses, walk along a breakwater wall, and take a seaside drive to Government House, where I often go walking on the stunning grounds. Elizabeth arrived early with a very comfortable van. The tour started with a very knowledgeable guide who showed us a very interesting cross section of what Victoria has to offer plus a few "off the beaten path" spots that we would have never seen with other guides. Elizabeth made us feel very comfortable and was not only an excellent guide we now have a new friend.
Elizabeth did a great job of touring our group of six adults around Victoria. Very comfortable and roomy vehicle. Tour was a nice mix of city and surrounding areas. We got to see why Victoria is called "The Garden City".

Elizabeth Vago was very knowledgeable and did a good job of showing us a good variety of the city highlights giving context and historic information. She adapted easily to our need to accommodate my parents who are 84 and 88. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with her. The van that she drove during the tour was extremely comfortable and all four of us had good visability from inside.
