Dear Traveller, come with me to an unforgettable walking and learning tour of the prestigious University of Toronto St. George Campus. Ranked number 1 University in Canada, it was founded by royal charter in 1827 as King's College, the first institution of higher learning in the colony of Upper Canada. We will visit the extensive grounds consisting of several buildings with their architecture epitomized by a combination of Romanesque and Gothic Revival buildings spread across the eastern and central portions of campus, most dating between 1858 and 1929 . With its green spaces and many interlocking courtyards, the university forms a distinct region of urban parkland in the city's downtown core. I will also provide you with lots of information about what to see and do while visiting downtown Toronto.
We had a wonderful day on a tour with Robert at the University of Toronto. He was well informed and knowledgeable. We were able to go in several buildings that we would not have known about and he had some good inside stories for us. I highly recommend this tour.
Robert was an excellent tour guide. He was very thorough in his description of the sites and sounds of the University of Toronto, and he relayed valuable information to me. He even provided me with the budget and financial projections for the university for the next five years as well as a list of famous graduates from U of T. I would definitely recommend Robert as a tour guide in and around Toronto.
