Embu das Artes - Meet a colonial city close to Sao Paulo

You must know a city full of history and a good place to buy handcrafts and art from the creators. Embu das Artes is a city that the Jesuits founded with the help of native people that lived there. The natives also started the fame that Embu has, to be a city of artists because the Jesuits tried to convert them to Catholicism by the art, not only by the language. We will visit a sacred art museum that is inside the Church Nossa Senhora do Rosário built in the beginning of the XVIII century. You can also visit the central part of the city where you can visit many shops that sells handcrafts, stones, souvenirs, local art and much more. The city has many charming small streets and alleys where you can have a nice and unexpected picture. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays the street and sidewalk is taken by street vendors selling every kind of art.

Departing from Sao Paulo city in a hotel or any place agreed by the traveler We will drive around 1 hour passing trough many neighborhoods in the City. Parking very close to the main attractions (colonial church, shops, restaurants. . . ) After 2 or 3 hours we go back to your hotel or any agreed place to the end of the tour.
