Let's have an encounter with the traditional amazonian people who have lived their whole life in the Amazon jungle and learn about their lifestyle, their culture and maybe even learn some words from their languages. In the Amazon there are so many beautiful creatures, but by far the most lovely river creature is the pink dolphins, they are such a cute friendly animals who live free in every river of our region. The National Amazon Research Institute has a platform where biologists come from all over the globe to study these amazing creatures to understand their life and help to protect them even more.

This was a great day. I've been struggling with a foot injury during the entire cruise, and Milton still was able to give us an adventure to remember. He got me "front row" seat at the pink dolphins. I think I had a better view than the people in the water. And the visit to the rainforest tribe—my husband says getting to hold the chief's 3 month old baby will be the highlight of the trip. The travel gods were on our side. The morning had been monsoon rains, but the afternoon was delightul.
Your Manaus tour itinerary
Our private tour starts from your hotel were we meet up and head by car to the marina where the boat will be ready for our depart upstream on the Negro river to visit an indigenous tribe that came from the border with Colombia and still keep their traditions, language and rituals. They are very friendly and will talk to you about their lifestyle and make demonstrations of their traditional rituals. Second part of our tour will be visiting a project that takes care of the fresh water pink dolphins where you'll be able to learn about these amazing docile creatures and take nice pictures of this unforgettable moment, the dolphins are free in the wild and only come to this place because the locals are friendly and already became part of their family. We'll enjoy the rest of our half day on a beautiful, white sand and warm water of the Negro River side until the moment to return to your hotel after this refreshing time. *If you have a group larger than 3 please contact me so I can arrange a larger vehicle. *
