Bonjour! I'm Ana, a private tour guide with over 10 years of experience in the travel industry. In 2015, I transitioned from a career in journalism to pursue my passion for tour guiding. While it wasn’t always easy, the joy of doing what I love has made the journey worthwhile. One of the highlights of my career was being Rick Steves' guide in Bucharest in 2016 for his TV show about Romania. Since then, I've organized hundreds of customized private tours, mostly for small groups from North America and Australia. After moving to Switzerland to join my husband (whom I met during a tour in Bucharest), I’ve continued guiding in my new home. For the past two years, Geneva and the Swiss Riviera—Lausanne, Vevey, and Montreux—have become the focus of my tours. I specialize in creating personalized itineraries that reflect the unique interests of my clients. If you’re planning a visit to this part of the world, feel free to explore my tours and get in touch for a customized experience! As a side note, I don't drive, so all my tours are on foot or using the public transportation network such as trains and buses. Also, I do not lead tours inside museums where local museum guides and organized tours are available.

There is so much to see in Geneva, but we were limited on time and abilities. Ana was great in working around both things. We saw the old town and her tour was very informative. She was able to answer all our questions about not only Old Town, but Geneva in general. Lovely time with Ana! Kay

Ana was a great tour guide and pleasant company. She had things outlined, but gave me a chance to adjust as we went based on how we were feeling and how the weather was cooperating. She took me for a mix of history, watches, and chocolate - a taste of each key thing I wanted to learn about. Her knowledge and observations of the cultural aspects added another dimension...
