Visit one of the most amazing places on the planet, famous for its luxury watch factories, banks, the beautiful Lake Geneva, and many more well-known features. But did you know that Geneva played a significant role in the Reformation? The ideas of Calvin, Knox, and Farel, which were spread all over the world, had their beginnings in the St. Pierre Cathedral in Geneva. Geneva is a place where the highest-ranked politicians can come together and try to find solutions at the UN instead of resorting to conflict. It's a city where the Jet d'eau serves as a safety valve and has become the symbol of the city. Many people from all over the world have found shelter here during troubled times in their own countries. My all-time favorite place in the whole Canton of Geneva is the highest viewpoint in the St. Pierre Cathedral, from where you can see Mont Blanc and the entire city. I have personally been countless times to the top of the cathedral, and every time I am breathless and proud to be a part of it.
Curious about what our tour entails? I can give you a glimpse, but I'm also eager to hear your suggestions! Picture this: I'll whisk you away from your hotel, and together we'll traverse the stunning Pont Mont Blanc bridge towards Mont Blanc. As we cross, you'll catch sight of the iconic Sunflower, a gift from none other than the renowned watchmaker, Patek-Philippe, to Geneva. Just 200 meters ahead, on the left, awaits the famous fountain. We'll then meander through the city, passing by landmarks like Patek Philippe and the legendary Rolex, until we reach my absolute favorite spot: the St. Pierre Cathedral. But that's not all - we'll also explore the grandeur of the Reformation Wall, stretching an impressive 100 meters and adorned with figures of reformers from across Europe. For me, figures like Knox, Calvin, and Farel hold a special place. And how could I overlook the majestic Lake Geneva? It's the second largest lake in Europe, and its beauty defies description - you simply have to experience it .
