Tour of Yvoire by boat

We will take a cruise in Geneva and stop by many different villages before arriving to Yvoire, which had a very important military role in the middle ages and earned already in 1324 some freedoms for its inhabitants. Today, Yvoire is one of the prettiest village of France. It has won prizzes for its participation in competitions as being one of the most well kept and flowery and green village. We will visit its well preserved castle, ramparts and fortified gateways, ditches and houses. We will probably bump into old fishermen of the village and stroll into the narrow cobbled streets, looking at its range of old houses, souvenirs shops and restaurants, and its garden of 5 senses which we can visit too. Restaurants are famous for their fish from the lake such as perches with french fries. We may stop at one of the best, with beautiful view on the lake - Once back, we can also visit the shores of the lake in Geneva before going back to your hotel.
