This tour explores the city's rich horological history, delving into the stories of its most famous brands and the role of Swiss watches in the global watchmaking market On our way we will also enjoy Geneva’s famous touristic attractions as well as the city’s hidden curiosities. By request, we may visit a unique studio in which modern independent Swiss watchmakers are presented.
Your Geneva tour itinerary
- we will start the tour in Heart of Geneva's Watchmaking Industry, in the district which up to the middle of 19th century hosted primarily watchmaking artisans; - see the tower featured on some Vacheron Constantin watch dials; - we'll continue to the Old City passing Fondation Haute Horlogerie; - enjoy a brief two-minute performance of the original mechanical and musical carillon, showcasing the incredible talent of Geneva's clockmakers; - walk along the famous Rue du Rhône, home to luxury brands, and hear stories from the history of its most famous watchmakers. By request we may end the tour at the Patek Philipp museum, so that you continue your immersion in the magic world of Swiss watches (when the museum is open).
