Greetings from the beautiful island - Penang! Hi everyone! My name is Gary L. I have been guiding since 2008. Prior to my present career, I was involved in many industries such as education, marketing, publication, oil & gas training, manufacturing etc. Finally, at last I decided to venture myself into Tourism Industry in 2008 due to the huge number of tourists ever since Penang have been awarded by UNESCO as World Heritage Site on that year. I am registered tourist guide licensed under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Malaysia, currently a member of Penang Tourist Guides Association. I speak fluently in English, Malays, Chinese and local dialects, such as Hokkien & Cantonese. Being a host, I would be very glad to bring you around to experience the hospitality of the local people, the foods, the culture and tourist attractions in Penang． I am registered tourist guide licensed under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Malaysia. Advanced Diploma in Business Administration. (Association of Business Executives, United Kingdom). Former On-site Trainer for Exxon Mobil in 2003-2004. Permanent member of Penang Tourist Guide Association. Member of Penang Heritage Trust I am not a licensed nature guide but however I can conduct Botanical Garden tour.

Gary is a wonderful guide. He drove us around George Town providing us with details on landmarks and history. We learned why the Victoria Tower is at an angle, about the horrors of the building of the Burma Railway, and the various activities over the years at the Penang Esplanade.
