My name is Narinder, and I was born and brought up in Amritsar, Punjab. I have been working as a professional tourist guide for the past nine years, proudly continuing a family profession that was started by my late father. He used to conduct local tours around Amritsar in his jeep, introducing visitors to the city’s rich history, culture, and everyday life. Although he is no longer with us, I vividly remember the stories and history lessons he shared with me, many of which were rooted in the real lives and experiences of people in Amritsar. His passion for the city and its heritage inspired me to follow the same path and share that knowledge with visitors from around the world. I hold a degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from a local college and have also completed several vocational courses to further develop my professional skills. Beyond guiding, I enjoy reading and writing, and I am passionate about learning through travel. During the quieter tourist seasons, I take the opportunity to travel across India and abroad, exploring new places, cultures, and perspectives. I particularly enjoy meeting and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds, as every conversation gives me an opportunity to learn something new.
