I am a fully licensed local guide, also allowed to guide in all museums, gardens, national parks and castles as well as some churches in Dresden and Saxony - Frauenkirche church in particular - and an official member of "Tourismusverband Dresden e. V. " and our German national "Bundesverband der Gästeführer in Deutschland e. V. ". As president of "IG Guides Dresden-Elbland" I share my expertise with six very passionate fellow-guides.
I also guide in whole East Germany: Colditz, Bautzen, Gorlitz, Wittenberg, Weimar, Naumburg, and e. g. thematic Luther-Bach-Goethe tours.

I graduated from university with diploma in History, Anglistics and Germanistics. However, I am well known as a humorous tourist guide from whose rich knowledge of local events in the present and past and lots of historical anecdotes you will be impressed and never bored! Have a fine lunch either in Rooftop Panorama Tower or in medieval "Auerbachs Keller" where Dr. Faustus sold his soul to Mephisto. For music friends: J. S. Bach himself lived and worked in this wonderful city most of his life! And other composers lived in Leipzig, too. Today Leipzig has a modern, nearly youthful appearance with a lot of historic buildings.

You will see Thomas Church, the Renaissance City Hall, Nicolai Church (the origin of the "Peaceful Revolution" which finally lead to German Reunification in 1989), Renaissance Boerse, and splendid museums.
