Individual, out of the box and radiating positive energy - that's how my tours are. Anja, born 1967, open water swimmer, salsa dancer and travel addict having traveled 70+ countries so far and thus knowing what a traveler needs. My passion is to turn cool facts into great stories. I am so happy that I can do this in both of my professions - being a city guide for Düsseldorf and a journalist specialized in economics. I highly value thorough education and delivering perfect service. As a journalist I have worked for the equivalent of Financial Times in Germany and can provide you with insights about German economy, politics and "Life, the Universe and Everything". - certified three star *** city guide - also working for the official tourist office in Düsseldorf - member of the German Professional Guide Association (BVGD) - certified Church Guide Please not: I am a guide for Dusseldorf only! I am not a driver guide. In Germany you need a taxi licence for this - otherwise guests are not insured. Therefor I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can recommend a limousine service (car and driver).

From the deep history of the Altstadt to the bold modern architecture of the Medienhafen, she brought every corner of the city to life with stories, context and insights you would never find in a...

It is a gift to guide such wonderful humans! It is the cherry on the cake for a guide and felt like having friends around. Specially since you soak up every little detail like a sponge ...
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Dusseldorf with Anja. We explored history, classic & modern architecture, contemporary & street art, and a lovely Christmas Market at the old city square alongside the Rhein. Thank you Anja!

Showing two good-mooded guys around is a pure pleasure - meeting John and Darrin was one of the cherries on the cake of why I love being a guide: Full of curiosity, and positive attitude in spite of awful weather ;)
