I am Haile, a professional tourist guide who works with both inbound and outbound tourism in a variety of destinations and settings. I hold a tourist guiding license from the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Ministry of Culture and Tourism, which allows me to conduct tours throughout the country. I have worked as an independent tour guide across Ethiopia’s tourist destinations and have extensive knowledge of the country’s history, culture, and nature. I have successfully led and managed groups of tourists throughout Ethiopia, conducting tours for both groups and individuals. I offer a variety of tour packages, including historical tours, cultural tours, nature tours, bird-watching tours, trekking tours, documentary film tours, archaeological tours, coffee tours, road and mountain biking, rafting, and Ethiopian cuisine tours. I worked as a tour operator and tour guide for two of the most competitive tour companies in Addis Ababa until August 2011. Since then, I have been working as a freelance English-speaking guide for various tour companies in Addis Ababa. I am passionate about travel, and my goal is to promote tourism as a whole while contributing to the growth and development of tourism in Ethiopia in particular.
