Dear Visitors, WELCOME TO CYPRUS I come from Famagusta (in Greek Ammochostos) and since the Turkish Invation I live in Nicosia (in Greek Lefkosia). I studied Oceanography at the University of Hamburg (F. R. Germany) but since 2006 I am a freelance licensed tourist guide, guiding in German, English and Greek. If you are visiting Cyprus alone, or along with your family and friends, it will be a pleasure for me to welcome you to my country and show you around the island. Pls have a look at my tour list! We can walk through Nicosia, the last divided capital in Europe, travel to the medieval Famagusta, or visit together the castles at the Keryneia district, the Pafos Mosaics, the Byzantine Churches in the Troodos mountains, the ruins of Salamis and Kourion, and many other venues. Marina gave us an excellent half day tour of Nicosia, providing a lot of information about history and culture and showing us the best sites on both sides of the city. She also was easy to work with before the tour, and helped us with difficult restaurant reservations.
