I am a 44 years old colombian, born and raised in Medellin. My choldhood was during a period of time full of violence generated by Pablo Escobar and the drug carteI and my adolescence during a warfare held by guerrillas and paramilitaries groups. Now, that the country passed through a transformation process, I'm enjoying the good times with a higher quality of life and recieving visitors from all over the world. I used to be a TV producer untill 2015 when the peace was becoming a reality in Colombia so I was able to travel to other regions of the country for the first time, with no danger of being kidnapped or cought in the middle of a shooting. I did a trip by motorcycle with my best friend, that was planned for 2 weeks. At the end we traveled for 3 months due to the excitment of discovering an amazing country that we didn't imagined, where you find Caribbean coast, Pacific coast, mountains rivers, Amazon jungle, deserts, big cities and all kind of interesting places. During the trip I decided that I wanted to dedicate my time to show this country and tell its interesting process of transformation, so I quit my job in media and started studying tourism and working in a hotel, as a way to learn more about this. In 2018 I was ready to start doing tours in a professional way and opened my own business. At this point I've done more than 1. 000 tours for more around 2. 000 people from 72 different nationalities. Between 2009 and 2010 I lived in Sydney, Australia where I studyed English lenguage and opened my mind knowing people from all over the world, their food, traditions and culture and this is why I've been able to het along with my clients from different countries as I'm able to understand their cultural differences and needs while travelling in Colombia. I really enjoy my job and never feel working while doing tours so rather than hiring a guide, you can feel that you're visiting a relative willing to show you around and doing his best for you to have a great time in Colombia. It would be a big pleasure showing you this fascinating place. Looking forward to meeting you! *Tour Guide Professional Card This is a certification granted to tour guides in Colombia that studyied for 2 years and are the only ones allowed to do tours, acoording to the colombian law. *RNT (Registro Nacional de Turismo) 57804 This is the license for tour operators in Colombia, that allows me to provide tourism services and use my car for this purpose.
