I'm Daniel, and I was born and raised in the Colombian city of Medellin. I grew up with a passion for learning about other cultures and introducing people to my country. My work as a tour guide has been one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences of my life. I take satisfaction in sharing my knowledge of the history and culture of my city to visitors. My urge to learn about new cultures and various perspectives was awakened during a six-month cultural immersion program I partook on in Canada, during my senior year of high school. I then lived in the United States after receiving my university degree in International Business management, where I was able to develop my language proficiency and deepen my understanding of the value of cultural interaction. These encounters have not only enhanced my life in innumerable ways but also helped me become a better tour guide. I have an easygoing personality that I believe enables me to connect with travelers on a slightly deeper level and make their adventures in Medellin more valuable. -Our tour starts when you get picked up from your accommodation or a specific arranged spot. -Then you'll be driven to a Monastery, located high in the hills overlooking Medellin, from where you'll be able to enjoy the panoramic views of the city. -From there, we'll depart to the forest. This beautiful cloud forest is home to a vast array of biodiversity, including different species of fauna and flora, and it's a great place for hiking and birdwatching. -Along the way, you'll follow ancient indigenous paths used by locals in the 1800s, and you'll learn stories about the history and culture of these trails and those who walked across them. -Then we'll reach a natural viewpoint overlooking the city and the impressive waterfall. -After admiring the view, we'll hike down to the base of the waterfall and relax in the cool, clear waters, soaking up the serene beauty of the area. -Finally, we'll return to Medellin, feeling refreshed and renewed after our time in the beautiful natural surroundings of the area.
