I've always loved nature and showing people the amazing country I was fortunate enough to be born into. My family influenced greatly who I am, not only I became I biologist like my father and an outdoor enthusiast, but I learned how to travel with them. Since I can remember every year we would visit places while doing road trips, camping and making an effort to get the real sense of the places we visited. We would stay in rural accommodations, talk and share time with the locals and go further than the average traveler. In my professional career, while studying birds, amphibians and reptiles all over Colombia, I've become very knowledgeable about our natural environment, history, culture and places we have to offer. The same for my city Medellin, I'm a natural explorer and would love to share with you everything I know of this great place. I'm a Biologist from The University of Valle, Cali- Colombia and a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from The University of Tennessee. I've completed the courses and received the certification issued by SENA, Colombia's National Apprenticeship Service, to perform as a tour guide (RNT 80885).

Three hours away from Medellin in the southeast of Antioquia we find Jericó, a small town filled with history, beautiful architecture and local charm. We will explore the history of this traditional paisa town, walk (or drive) through is cobbled streets and admire the colorful facades and balconies that are accompanied by native flora. We will learn about the "Carriel", a typical handmade leather bag, of which Jericó is famous for its production.
