Medellin, history and sightseeing!

My daughter and I recently completed this tour while in Medellin. I am afraid this review will come across as hyperbolic, but this tour was truly a transformational experience for me. Laura, our guide, was exceptional. She was prompt, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and we enjoyed spending the day with her. Additionally, her English is impeccable! We toured the Manrique neighborhood, commuting via public transportation to and from. The people we met and visited with in the neighborhood were all welcoming and gracious. As noted, spending the day with them in their neighborhood and learning about their efforts to improve/transform the area was amazing. I cannot possibly say enough positive things about the tour, Laura or the experience; but it was honestly marvelous! I highly recommend this tour and/or any experience with Laura as your guide.

Laura had an outstanding performance as a tour guide. Her competence was perceived as extremely professional and knowleadgeable about Medellín and the historic sites we visited. She possesses strong communication skills and the ability to be engaging and enthusiastic. We had an amazing time with her!

Amazing tour! Laura was so accommodating and adjusted the tour to fit our schedule. Laura is a perfect example of how this company connects locals with travelers so that we not only get to see the sights but we get to interact with someone super interesting who can also give her perspective on life in such an amazing, complex, and beautiful place!

Laura is so friendly and knowledgeable! She presented me an itinerary for a half day tour, and I relied on it heavily when deciding what things I wanted to see most in Medellin. We did spend too much time in Communa 13, as it was extremely touristy, but given that I was in a large group of 8 it was a good stop for everyone in one way or another. Everything else was exceptional. I especially loved our jaunt to the Botelho sculptures and visiting the exquisite Cathedral downtown. I spent 2 days with Laura!

Wow!!! Laura is a 5 star plus tour guide. She is smart, articulate and walked our legs off. I am sure we now have a perspective on Medellin that we would not have had without such a comprehensive and information tour. It is hard to say enough good things about Laura. As a former university professor, I was taken by Laura's depth of knowledge on many subjects. Thank you.
