Hi! So nice to meet you~ Welcome to the Pacific Northwest! I am a city guide, a mountain guide, an off-the-beaten-path guide. I have many years of experience working with International and Domestic travelers from all over the world. I have a love of Native and Local culture, art, and the natural world, and I blend all of these things into my tours, whether they are walking tours, tours in my SUV, or a combination of both. From the Seattle Grunge scene to the Dot. com explosion and now the era of electric cars and Amazon-everything, I have had the pleasure of showing this region to over 20, 000 guests on my tours over the years, changing my narrative as the landscape of this city has grown and expanded to be the world-class city it is today. I love bringing historic and local context into the sites that we visit, but I am also just as happy to bring my guests to their destination and help them create their own story of this fantastic place. I came here as a tourist myself over twenty years ago and I just never got back on the plane at the end of the vacation. Watching my guests come face to face with the many natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest, whether it is a tour to Mount Rainier, the Olympic Peninsula, or one of our many Islands, is a great joy to me Commercial Driver License Class C with Passenger endorsement Interstate self-certification Commercial Auto Insurance Generally speaking, I cannot accommodate more than one small bag per passenger for Port Pickups. This eight-hour tour gives you an opportunity to leave the bustle of Seattle behind and join us locals in experiencing what we call "Island time" (a slower pace with time to really enjoy the beauty of our region). We will begin our day bright and early on the ferry to Bainbridge Island. Once on the other side of the Sound, we will drive across Agate pass, be inspired on lands touched by the Suquamish, and have a chance to see some amazing Coast Salish art and totems. From there we will cross the Hood Canal on a floating bridge (!) and arrive in the quaint seaside village of Port Townsend, where I will do a tour of the town before giving you time to shop and lunch on your own. As we leave town, one inspiring stop awaits on the North edge of town as we take a drive through Fort Worden State Park. From here we will look out upon the entry to the Salish Sea and San Juan Islands. A look westward will bring sweeping views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. You might just ask me to leave you here for a day or two!
