Allow me to take you to my favorite Seattle sites. I've lived here nearly my whole life and believe these are THE BEST in-city places to go if you only have half a day to tour. I've been to all of them many times because I love them as a local. You will too when I take you to my favorite places in the Pike Place Market and tell you about my personal history with this fascinating place. This tour can be modified to accommodate the needs of families. We'll stop for a photo at the Space Needle, then drive to the Ballard Locks, a miniature version of the locks on the Panama Canal, where you'll be at the junction of two local bodies of water and will see how boats are able to move from Puget Sound to Lake Washington, despite the fact that the water is at different levels between the two. We'll visit the cute Ballard neighborhood or the Fremont Troll. Let me show you my city, as I would my best friends and family members. Great for FIFA World Cup guests. Tour times can be changed to accommodate game schedules.

• Pick up from Cruise Ship or Sea-Tac Airport. • We’ll drive to and spend about 2 hours at the market, first exploring my favorite haunts and sampling my favorite local foods. Then you’ll have time to wander on your own. • We’ll drive to the Space Needle for photos then drive to a scenic viewpoint for more photos. • We’ll drive about 15 minutes to the Ballard Locks, where you’ll see the “boat elevator” and witness this engineering marvel. During certain seasons you’ll also see huge local salmon making their way up a fish ladder from Puget Sound to Lake Washington. • We’ll stop in the nearby Ballard Neighborhood, where you will have time to explore the cute shops and restaurants in this area, which is where immigrants from Scandinavia first settled. • We’ll end the tour by dropping you off at your Cruise Ship or Sea-Tac airport.
