Travel is my biggest passion. I can freely admit that I'm addicted to it. l have visited 89 countries and am close to my 100-country goal. There is nothing better than arriving at a new place and fully exploring it from a local standpoint. Going beyond the tour books and seeing the uniqueness of every country and its people. That approach has left me with amazing memories, unbelievable adventures, and one-of-the-kind experiences. This journey around the world gave me a unique perspective on being a tour guide. After getting stuck on countless generic tours that spend hours showing off stores and bringing me to places that gave the guides kickbacks, while only allowing ten to twenty minutes at incredible attractions that I wished to explore in more detail. I decided to become a tour guide to ensure that when visiting Los Angeles you take control of your experience and visit each location for as long as you desire while skipping the attractions that hold no interest to you. Being a private tour guide with over 12 years of guiding experience, gave me the opportunity to discover every nook and cranny that Los Angeles has to offer. I don't believe in the idea of one tour fits all. My aim is to give you a personalized and balanced introduction to what this amazing city has to offer. Emily is an amazing tour guide! We have been traveling for years and I can say she was the most informative guide we have ever had! First she was prompt picking us up at the port, found our location and we were on the road. On the way to our first location, she gave us a great history of the area. We asked for the less touristy locations with history and cultural information and we saw beautiful areas with incredible histories. Our two priorities were merged with an array of great sites and information about their origins. We asked for a 6PM drop off and in spite of traffic, we were at the terminal at 6:05! I cannot recommend her more highly! Great personality and information with a car that will fit your luggage!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Layover Tour of LA! We had five family members in our group. Emily was a fantastic guide. She chose great highlights for us to see. And she told us many interesting things about the history of Los Angeles which we didn't know. The tour covered the Spanish history of the city, up through its current role in the entertainment industry. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see many of the highlights of LA in one day.
