Hi! My name is JAN, or you can call me by my nickname, GOGO. I love traveling to different countries, cities, and interesting places, so I know exactly what you want: a unique experience from someone who cares. I am one of those rare breeds: a native Angeleno. I know this city like the back of my hand, and can tell you the present story, and also the past of such places as HOLLYWOOD, BEVERLY HILLS, SANTA MONICA, VENICE, MALIBU, DOWNTOWN, and those out of the way places. By the way, I always say "Los Angeles"; visitors say "L. A. " I began giving tours to friends and relatives who, at the end of our journey would say, "Wow, I learned so much from you". That is what I hope you will say when our journey together ends. The most important goal though, is that you see what YOU want to see. I can tailor your trip to your special needs, or show you my favorite places in "The Big Orange" or as some say "The Big Avocado". There are many sides of Los Angeles: old, new, quiet, fast-paced, spanish haciendas, contemporary residential and commercial buildings, palm lined paradises, glitzy shopping areas, and of course the movie studios. As a former modeling agent (ELITE, WILHELMINA, NYTRO) I understand the glamorous side of the city. As a Certified Landscape Architect, I also understand the quiet side, so I can point out the unique fauna of the area. As a former business man, I also understand the meaning of "punctual" One interesting point from the beginning: almost everything you will see in the city and surrounding areas, did not exist 100 years ago (except for the ocean and mountains of course). And almost everything has been, at some point in it's life, used as a movie or tv location. Another point: the smog has disappeared compared to when I was a kid, and you can usually see three separate mountain ranges from somewhere in Los Angeles. One final point: Los Angeles is the 2nd largest city in area in the world (London is 1st). As a native I know all the shortcuts around town (the fastest and easiest way from LAX to Hollywood, or anywhere else). I can go on and on, but I prefer to do that in person. So, please come join me in the CITY OF ANGELS, and I know at the end of our time together, you will also say, "Wow, I learned so much from you. " THANK YOU ! p. s. I am very family friendly Certificate of Landscape Architecture(UCLA) Bachelor of Arts-Theatre (UC SAN DIEGO) Professional Model Agent for Wilhelmina, Elite, Nytro Native of Los Angeles I am not a licensed tour driver, however, I can hire a properly licensed car/driver if requested.
