Welcome to Los Angeles! My name is Stan, and I've been providing private tours in Los Angeles for the past 10 years. I've graduated from the California State University of Long Beach with a business degree. I have my own business, and I also work as a tour guide with ToursByLocals. I've been living in a few big cities around the world before I moved to Los Angeles. I fell in love with LA after a couple of days of staying here and developed strong bonds to the city. Along with major tourist attractions like the Hollywood sign, Walk of Fame and Rodeo Drive; Los Angeles can offer so much more: beautiful beaches, mountains, celebrity hangouts, delicious restaurants, and trendy rooftops to name a few. My hobbies include cycling through the city, along with the beach or in scenic canyons of Malibu. I also enjoy morning yoga and evening workouts in the gym. I strive to discover delicious restaurants and local hidden gems. It is my passion to arrange high-quality tours in classic cars and SUVs. I enjoy making people's dreams a reality, orchestrating everything from the big picture to the details. I do not consider myself only a tour guide, but rather a travel ambassador: a creator-guide-tastemaker of experiences. We had a wonderful day in Los Angeles with Cameron. He took us around his town, some off the beaten track surprises and was a very knowledgeable ambassador about LA. We learned some history, saw some of the iconic sights and ate at the best deli, Canters, a recommendation from Cameron! It was a jam packed day and a perfect end to a wonderful 16 night cruise that ended in LA. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get the most out of 8 hours in LA.
Absolutely excellent. Cam went out of his way to ensure we had the best day. He rescheduled everything so we could visit a mobility shop (the airline busted my scooter), and still managed to show us all the highlights we wanted to see. Amazed at the driverless cars whizzing around.(why do they need windscreen wipers?). Loved Beverley Hills and the withches cottage. Hollywood a bit of a let down, not as glamorous as I'd imagined. A great day with a guide with a great sense of humour.

This was our first experience with Tours By Locals and our first time in LA so we weren't sure what to expect! Stan promptly picked us up at our hotel and had the whole day planned for us. We could have never seen as many of the sights in a single day without his services. He was very knowledgable and knew all the "insider" tips to make our day so special. He was very personable and flexible with the itinerary to make sure everyone (even the teens) had a great time! I highly recommend Stan!
Stan was Great, he covered all that was promised as well as accommodating my request to locate a previous home once rented by Elvis Presley. I had the address but so much had changed in 52 years. However, thanks to Stan and Google, I was able to drink in a little historic nostalgia. Thank you Stan for making it happen. Stan was very accommodating with the time frame start and finish. We were later than expected to the pickup spot. We 6 highly recommend Stan's excellently planned trip - a day well spent!
