Overview of your Houston tour:

This tour is the best tour for the newcomer to Houston to get a great overview of the city. It will cover over 40 miles/64 kilometers in the city and see almost all of the highlights. It will give you a good idea of the sites that you might want to visit on your own if you are spending more time here or will return again. You will have about 5. 5 hours to enjoy our fair city. We can also customize the tour so if you want to see more museums or more sports stadiums, and less stadiums or museums, we can accommodate you. Our goal is for you to have fun. This tour can be modified and shortened as requested with some sites eliminated.

Your Houston tour itinerary

This tour includes: 1. Hermann Park (the most popular park in Houston contains the Houston Zoo, an 18-hole golf course, multiple gardens, jogging trails, the Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS), statues, and more). 2. The Texas Medical Center (TMC) (the largest medical center in the world). 3. The Galleria area including a stop at the Water Wall for photos. 4. River Oaks neighborhood (old wealth mansions). 5. The Rice Village (a popular shopping and eating area). 6. Downtown Houston including seeing 50 to 75 story tall skyscrapers, Sesquicentennial Park, Sam Houston Park, Discovery Green Park, the Theater District, The Toyota Center (home of the Houston Rockets basketball team), and Minute Maid Park (home of the Houston Astros baseball team). 7. Museum District. 8. Rice University (the most respected university in the Deep South). 9. Stop for lunch and or The Chocolate Bar for a snack. Bring lunch money. 10. NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans football team and the rodeo. 11. Lakewood Church.

It includes guiding services throughout Houston, and transport to either Bush (IAH) Airport, Hobby (HOU) Airport, the Amtrak station, Greyhound station or a hotel in downtown or the Galleria area. Tell us what type of food you want and we will take you to such a restaurant: Bar BQ, steak, Mexican, seafood, vegetarian, Asian, et cetera. Meals, snacks, and admissions to museums and mansion homes are not included. Generally, tourists only go into museums that they request. Allow about $20.00 for lunch depending on what you order and or $10.00 for snacks. The distance from downtown Houston to Hobby (HOU) Airport is about 14 miles/23 kilometers and will take about 20 minutes. IAH is about twice as far. Thus, you will have about 5.3 to 5.7 hours to explore the city.
