Majestic Waterfalls and Hilo highlights
Overview of your Hilo tour
We visit the Majestic Akaka Falls. Venture around the pathway as you listen to the natural waters trickle downhill. Observe the ever so hidden falls as we make our way to/from the larger waterfall attractions. As we return to Hilo, we stop at the forever running Rainbow falls. At the head of Wailuku River, Rainbow falls sits as the home to moon goddess Hina, mother of the popular Demi-god Maui. Here the sum of the rivers flow and the slightest rays of the sun will light the Rainbow of the river. Historic Hilo town can consume the day for market goers. The Hilo Farmers Market comes to life with lots of local vendors and farmers on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Get fresh produce, souvenirs or even some food truck cuisine. Lastly, a taste of Hawaii at the Big Island Candies flagship factory store. A small business started in 1977 still a sign of aloha in omiyage.
