Neil Munro was a wonderful tour guide for the Isle of Skye. He also guides other parts of Scotland and we recommend him wholeheartedly. His car is very comfortable and everything he showed us was remarkable.

We've used ToursByLocals a lot, all over the world, and I would rate Neil as the best guide we've had. He picked us up at our hotel in Inverness, was early, dressed well, and was just the most pleasant person you can imagine. We spent two days with him in Skye, and he put a very nice itinerary together based on our input. He was really good at getting us amazing vantage points that were easy to reach and avoided the crowds. He has a great sense of humor, and was so easy to talk with, and he's full of great knowledge and amazing stories. We made some adjustments on the fly that were based on conversations we had, and he was super flexible. Example is saying he had planned a certain amount of time at a stop, but said if we wanted to cut it short, we could add something else to the plans. After we were done, he came back and gave us a ride to dinner on a wet night. Nice touch!

Neil is FANTASTIC! Having someone guide us around the island took all the stress out of the day. He was able to tell us the fun facts and history of the various places we saw - and we saw A LOT! Neil is easy to talk to and made sure we were always comfortable. His Mercedes van is very nice. We are five adults and had plenty of space. He has a microphone that projects his voice through speakers in the back so that everyone could hear him well. Neil customized this tour to fit what we wanted to see. He also made sure we got lots of family photos at the locations. Everyone in our family said that this was the highlight of our entire Scotland trip. Book this tour!!
