Shetland Mainland Full day

Our day with Lara was simply out of this world. She is unbelievably knowledgeable, experienced and FUN. I cannot say enough about how much we learned and got to see in only a day! Don't hesitate to book with her!

Lara was a fantastic guide and we had an amazing day with her. Lerwick and the Shetland Islands is absolutely stunning and we loved visiting and learning about life there. I am glad we were there for one of their warmest days of the year, and not one of their days with 180mph winds. Lara booked us a reservation at Frankies for the most delicious fish & chips lunch, and it was gluten free too! She also took us to see the adorable puffins, Shetland ponies and so many Shetland sheep. The landscapes were stunning, and the history of the Shetlands Islands was so interesting, too. We could have spent the whole day hiking and exploring the landscapes. We could not have had a better day! Thanks so much, Lara! It was great getting to know you and exploring your hometown.

Kat & I were very pleased with our guide for the day , Lara. She took us to many different sites on Shetland , and had allowed us a good feeling of understanding the island. Definitely would use Lara again if in Shetland and in need of a guide.

Excellent tour! Lara provides local knowledge and takes you to a variety of interesting places. I loved visiting Jarlshof since it includes so many different eras in one historic site. Lara was able to show me a spot where we could see puffins just a short distance away. She also took me on some beautiful walks. It was a wonderful day out and I highly recommend her.

My family had a great tour with Lara, it was the Highlight of our visit to Shetland. She is very knowledgeable about all things Shetland. The knowledge we gained from her tour totally changed our opinion of the island. We experienced and learned more in the one day with her than the previous two days touring on our own. it was a great investment. She arrived on time and after getting to know us was able to customize the tour agenda to match our expectations. When we return to Shetland, we intended to engage her services to tour the northern islands.

Lara is both knowledgeable and personable! My husband and I felt that we really got a taste of the history, culture, geography and wildlife in Shetland during our tour. Oh, and she had booked our lunch in a top-notch seafood stop with so many options from scallops to mussels to fish and chips to burgers. We only wish we had another day to spend with her! We will happily recommend Lara to anyone we know visiting Shetland!
