One of my personal favourite places to visit in Scotland is the beautiful Loch Lomond which is right on my doorstep. I love visiting Loch Lomond for its majestic scenery and enchanted mountains. There is nothing better than being on the 'Bonnie Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond'. I have been a coach driver guide for 25 years and in this time I have traveled the length and breadth of the UK. Visit All Castles from Outlander - form Greenock
Overview of your Greenock tour
Once picked up from Ocean Terminal we will begin our excursion by heading through Greenock which is the home of James Watt who invented the Steam Engine. The first stop will be Blackness Castle which was used in Outlander to represent Fort William. We will then proceed to Midhope Castle which is the location of Lallybroch. After our visit, we will travel to the town Falkland which was used to represent Inverness and was used for the scene where the ghost of Jamie looked up from the fountain to see Claire brushing her hair at the window. We will also have a light bite in Falkland at The Hayloft Tearoom. Our final stop of the day will be at Doune Castle which is used as Castle Leoch, the seat of Clan Mackenzie.
