I enjoy guiding throughout the country, but some of my favourite experiences include visiting the famous Outlander filming locations (I even appeared as an extra in Seasons 3 and 4!), exploring the dramatic beauty of the Isle of Skye, and travelling through the wild mountains and glens of the Scottish Highlands. Doune Castle – Famous as Castle Leoch, the seat of Clan MacKenzie in the TV series Outlander. Culross – This beautifully preserved village was used as Cranesmuir in Season 1 of Outlander. Linlithgow – Stop for lunch in this historic town, home to the impressive Linlithgow Palace. Midhope Castle – Recognised as Lallybroch, the beloved home of Jamie Fraser in Outlander. Blackness Castle – Dramatically set on the Firth of Forth, this fortress served as Fort William in Season 1 of Outlander.
