Hello everyone, my name is Julia, and I would love to introduce you to the Switzerland I know and love. Switzerland for me is not just a travel destination — it is my everyday life. I led tours in Venice and the Prosecco wine region, combining historical sites with fascinating stories. Overview of your Lucerne tour
Board the Luzern-Interlaken Express for an unforgettable journey through Switzerland’s stunning landscapes, with steep valleys, waterfalls, and mountain vistas. This panoramic train ride connects two famous destinations and is one of Switzerland’s top 5 routes. Our adventure starts in Lucerne with a 1.5-hour scenic ride to Brienz. From there, we’ll board the historic Brienz-Rothorn Railway, reaching 2,350 meters for breathtaking views of the Bernese Alps, Lake Brienz, and nearby mountains. We’ll enjoy a break at the mountaintop restaurant. Afterward, we’ll descend to the lake, experiencing the pristine beauty of the region, described by Rousseau as “paradise on Earth.” In Interlaken, you can choose to ascend Harder Kulm for panoramic views or visit Lauterbrunnen, famous for its waterfalls. Finally, we’ll return to Lucerne, completing a day full of Swiss beauty and adventure.
Your Lucerne tour itinerary
Available from June 10 through late October!!! 1. 5 hour panoramic train ride from Lucerne 1 hour famous red train up to an altitude of 2350 meters above sea level. Magnificent panoramic views of the Bernese Alps, Lake Brienz, the Grimsel area and the Pilatus and Hogant mountains. The mountain restaurants at the top are at our service. Cruise along the lake past the iconic "castle" Iseltwald (without stopping) to Interlaken (1 hour 15 Min). In Interlaken, you can choose to ascend Harder Kulm for panoramic views or visit Lauterbrunnen, famous for its waterfalls. Finally, we’ll return to Lucerne, completing a day full of Swiss beauty and adventure. * An abbreviated version is available, without the red train, but with a walk on - all year round. The costs are on request. Remember this is my suggested itinerary, but there are many options for customization, from types of food to locations so please let me know and I would be delighted to answer your questions.
