Discover the quiet beauty of the Swiss winter on a private snowshoe day from Lucerne. I will choose a route suited to your group, fitness and the snow conditions, with possibilities around Langis, Engelberg or Rigi. Walk through snowy forests and open mountain scenery, pause for photographs and enjoy a simple picnic with warm tea. Beginners are welcome: I provide the snowshoes, poles and an introduction before we set off. The day includes private guiding, round-trip transport from Lucerne and equipment for your private group of up to eight people. Lift, cable-car and other admission tickets are excluded; most routes do not require them. If an optional lift is useful, we agree the extra cost before the day. Please wear warm layers and waterproof footwear. The final route depends on weather and safe snow conditions.
Your Lucerne tour itinerary
• Meet in Lucerne and travel to the snowshoe area selected for the day’s weather and your group. • Fit your snowshoes and poles, then go through a short equipment and safety introduction. • Follow a scenic winter route through forests and mountain landscapes, with breaks for views and photographs. • Stop for a simple picnic lunch, bottled water and warm tea. • Continue at a comfortable pace before returning to our vehicle and Lucerne. Allow approximately eight hours including transfers and breaks. The route and walking distance are tailored to the group and conditions. Optional lift or cable-car tickets are not included.
