Day excursion to the highlights of Bernese (Berner) Oberland with Jungfraujoch

Fantastic tour with Andre. He met us on time and took us on an all day trip to the top of Europe - Jungfraujoch. We rode by train, cog train for uphill sections and gondola toward the top of the mountain. He allowed us to customize the trip (stops and time at stops) to our needs and liking. Andre was very personable and the 4 of us enjoyed meeting him and being in his company. He pointed out the best places to sit on the train for the best views and best comfort. He also knew the best areas to see and what to do and look for during each stop of our long day excursion. Highly recommend Andre as a tour guide. Very easy to customize what you want to do and see as he has been everywhere and can make recommendations based on personal preferences. Andre also gave us tips on what to bring for our trip to maximize our comfort on the journey.

Andre proved to be an excellent guide for this tour. As a climber himself he was able to add a lot of personal experience to descriptions of the Alps. Andre was warm and personable and delivered everything we could have wished for in a guide. We recommend him to other travellers to Switzerland.

Andre was our guide to Zermatt and the Matterhorn just two days prior and we were a little exhausted from that trip and were still recovering from altitude sickness. Fortunately, he was able to modify our itinerary and brought us to some of the most breathtaking spots in Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Gimmelwald and Interlaken. Since we decided not to go to Jungfraujoch, Andre instead brought us to the Trummelbach Falls (glacier waterfalls) that were absolutely stunning and unreal. The entire day was spectacular.

Recommend 100%! We spent 2 days with Andre seeing 2 different regions of Switzerland. It was spectacular! Logistically it was a lot of walking, trains, buses, etc. Andre maneuvered us from one transport to the next with ease. He's knowledgeable, easy to talk to and a super enjoyable travel guide. We will definitely book with him again and recommend him to anyone traveling to Switzerland.

Highly recommend a tour with Andre! It would be difficult to plan a hike without meeting the people you are taking first, but he did a great job of it. We got to see a lot of places we wouldn't have gone on our own and he is incredibly knowledgeable which made the day even more enjoyable. Definitely worth every dollar spent on this!
