2 day excursion to the highlights of Bernese (Berner) Oberland from Lucerne

Wow! GREAT touring with Andre. He was prompt, personable and very knowledgeable. We went to some of the "greatest hits", such as Jungfrau and Oeschinensee but also some places that I had not come across in my research. Having a private guide is a great way to tour since we have flexibility, such as one day when it started to rain near Thun, we went to Bern in the afternoon where it was sunny. Andre has great stamina - he can just keep going and going. I am a retired owner of a travel agency and highly recommend Andre as guide!

Andre went out of his way to help my group (10) with our luggages. Customized our tour based on our mobility and preferences. His trip plans were fantastic!!!

The Bernese Oberlands are a spectacularly beautiful part of the world, and the two day tour we took with Andre was the perfect way to experience it. Andre was a pleasure. A man of diverse interests and passion. Educated, intelligent, intellectually stimulating and curious, articulate, multilingual and historically and geopolitically informed. And a mountaineer to boot. This is the third time I have used Tours by Locals. From both my wife Lynn and I, a 5 star out of 5-star rating. A 4-day tour of 4 counties during difficult COVID times.
