Overview of your Interlaken tour:

We will travel by train, cable car, and bus for our journey. The hike will be approx. 3 hours nice panoramic walk and lots of time to make spectacular photos. During the hike we will enjoy a picnic with typical local swiss products that I will organise and bring. You can bring water or other beverages and small snacks. No restaurant on our hike. Good idea if you bring a small back pack for your personal items, and good walking shoes, maybe walking sticks. If you don't have I can supply you with. On our return we will discover the other side of the mountain chain with deep valley and beautiful mountain lake. We should be back in Interlaken at approx, 17h30- 18h00.

All by public transportation. Here in Switzerland we have an excellent and very efficient public transportation, you will not need a car to go on my trips. Everywhere I will take you we can rely on them; especially in the mountains it is easier to travel by train, busses, cable car, chairlift etc. In addition, it gives us full liberty of our journey and to alternate routes.

  • Other: My services as your personal guide with - Organisation and research (e.g. travel plan, timetable, entrance and restaurant booking if necessary etc.) - Guide (pick up from your hotel in Interlaken or to your convenience) - Guiding you during the excursion including information about geography, history and legends, local people, culture, etc.) - Assistance with and purchase of the train tickets - Guided hike of about 3 hours - Little picnic en route with typical local Swiss products - Speaking the local Swiss languages (Swiss-/German, French, Italian) and English

  • Other: - Your travel expenses (about CHF 85 per person if you don't have any public transportation pass). Special passes for travelling with public transports in Switzerland are available. I will help you organizing and purchasing it. To be paid in cash on the spot. - For first class train travel other rates apply, both for the client and the guide. To be paid in cash on the spot. - Any items of a personal nature related to shopping, souvenirs, restaurant/picnic, snacks The following expenses for the guide: - supplement for cable cars of about CHF 18 and bus (latter in case we come back on another way) The guide will organise and purchase the public transportation tickets and then ask for reimbursement. All public transportation expenses to be reimbursed in CHF in cash on the spot since no credit card terminal available.
