Hi everyone, my name is Nicola and I come from Tuscany, actually from a historical small village, nestling between Florence and Siena. Here I started to work as a tour guide and accompanist for Siena, Florence and their provinces. As a big lover of the beautiful surroundings I was born into and where I grew up, it was always clear to me that one day I would be studying history of art at the University of Florence; and this is exactly what I did. Aside of it, thanks to my father, I also grew a deep love and respect for Nature, that accompany me since I was a kid, and is still, together with culture and important point of reference in my life. Thanks to my beloved Tuscany, that has provided me with so much inspiring inputs, the fire of passion for this beautiful job has grown so much that I now want to do it in the land that has adopted me, Switzerland, where I live with my family since more than 2 years. A country, Switzerland, rich in history, art, culture, but also characterized by a glorious nature ready to be discovered and loved. With these premises, I am here to introduce myself hoping to arouse interest in the people who will visit my page, sure that together we will be able to spend wonderful moments and create indelible memories. It doesn't matter in which corner you are, there are hidden treasures everywhere. Whether it's a romantic castle ruin, an interesting museum, secret paths through old-grown forests or exciting tours through medieval town or villages - I'm sure I will make your day perfect and bring you a little bit closer to "my world". I'm looking forward to welcoming you, yours Nicola Licensed tour guide since 2013. Master degree in History of art at the University of Florence. Teacher and trainer of tour guides in 2018 and 2019 for Bottega Toscana.

Join me for a full-day private tour to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, Europe’s highest train station at 3,454 meters (11,332 ft). Ride the famous Jungfrau Railway, enjoy stunning alpine views, and explore highlights like the Sphinx Observatory, Ice Palace, and summer Snow Fun Park. Temperatures remain low year-round, so warm layers, a windproof jacket, gloves, and sunglasses are essential. At this altitude, some may feel mild breathlessness or light-headedness; we’ll take a relaxed pace to ensure comfort. This personalized tour offers unforgettable glacier landscapes and local insights—perfect for first-time visitors and mountain lovers alike. Important: booking well in advance is crucial during high season to secure train tickets, as availability is limited. I can assist in coordinating ticket purchases, but all tickets—including mine—meant for the tour must be bought by guests.
What We Will Do: -Depart from Interlaken (or your hotel) and enjoy a scenic train ride through alpine villages to Kleine Scheidegg. -Board the iconic Jungfrau cogwheel train, traveling through tunnels inside the Eiger and Mönch mountains. -Arrive at Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe (3,454 m), Europe’s highest railway station. -Visit the Sphinx Observatory for panoramic views of the Aletsch Glacier and peaks. -Explore the Ice Palace with its stunning ice sculptures and frozen corridors. -Relax and have lunch with alpine views at a Jungfraujoch restaurant or by Kleine Scheidegg. -Take an optional guided walk on the Glacier Plateau, weather permitting, for unique photos. -Descend via Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen (recommended), enjoying more mountain scenery. -Return to your hotel or original departure point, ending your alpine adventure.

The journey to Jungfraujoch primarily involves scenic train rides, including the famous Jungfrau cogwheel train through the mountains. Additionally, we will take a gondola ride to reach some of the viewpoints or access certain alpine areas, adding variety and spectacular aerial views to the experience. All transportation is comfortable and well-coordinated to ensure a smooth and memorable trip.
Untere Bönigstrasse, Interlaken, Bern, 3800, Switzerland
I usually suggest meeting at Interlaken Ost railway station, near the main entrance or by the large clock tower, as it is the main hub for trains to Jungfraujoch and easy to find. However, I’m happy to meet you at a different location within Interlaken if you prefer. It’s important, though, to keep Interlaken as the starting point for the tour.
