Overview of your Interlaken tour
We will go up to an impressive altitude of about 3463 metres (11,361 feet)! This place stands out ! Here you experience snowy winters throughout the year! We will take a moment to admire the surrounding 4000metre peaks and soak in the extraordinary scenery, visit ice caves, the Sphinx and other interesting expositions. The new Eiger Express funicular whisks us to the summit much more quickly. On the way back we are going to take the train so we enjoy the breathtaking scenery with another view.
Your Interlaken tour itinerary
- We meet as early as possible in Bern trainstation or in Interlaken Ost, to avoid crowds. Since the weather is unpredictable in the mountains, we will have a chance to see through the clouds. - We take the train from Bern to Interlaken Ost where we take the train to Grindelwald Terminal where we board the funicular. - Once we are at the Jungfraustation, we are going to visit the icecave, Sphinx and we can go outside to touch and feel the snow. - For lunch we will stop at the Kleine Scheidegg at a cosy restaurant. - After that we are taking the train who takes us back via Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken and/or Berne. PLEASE TAKE WARM CLOTHES, A BEANY AND FIRM SHOES WITH YOU ALL YEAR ROUND!
