Hi dear traveller!!! My name is Pedro David and I was born 36 years ago in one of the most beautiful lands of Europe: The South East of Spain. I love my hometown, Mazarrón, as well as the stunning cities around: Cartagena, Murcia, Alicante, Almería and Valencia. I have been always interested in the fabulous history of this wonderful piece of land, full of traditions and open minded people. The Region of Murcia, together with their neighbouring provinces of Almería, Alicante and Valencia are waiting for you to come and discover their jewels, monuments, natural places and hidden corners which are going back more than 3000 years to the very beginning of human existence in the area. People say I am a passionate guide who loves showing my homeland to others. Also as I am a native-guide I can offer all my experience (around 10 years) to make yours definitely unique and worthy. I am used to guiding different kinds of people, covering a wide range: families with children, retired people, disabled, teenagers, students, couples on their honeymoon, incentive groups, VIPs, pilgrims. . . Wine & Liqueur 43 Tasting, an unforgettable experience
Overview of your Cartagena tour
Join me on this exclusive tour where we will visit 2 different unique places in Cartagena. Let your senses feel my land and its legacy going 2000 years back by discovering a small family winery where we still grow a native type of grape from this city as well as the "monastrel" grape. We will see the fields, wine tanks and the beautiful tasting room where you will enjoy this two wines together with some typical sausages, cheeses and olives from our land. Then we will move to the world wide known Licor 43 Factory, which is considered as one of the most famous alcoholic drinks since decades ago(this is the only factory in the world). Over there get ready to get to know a whole world of flavors which are made with this "liqueur", visit the factory (if possible) and taste one of its outstanding recipes: Ginger Ale 43. Also there fabulous museum about the history of the company is visited. Finally we will go back to the city and you choose to continue on your own at the city center or going back to the ship.
Your Cartagena tour itinerary
- As soon as you come out of the terminal of cruiseships I will be waiting for you to go to the private transportation (1 min away). - First we will go to the countryside of Cartagena to visit a lovely local family winery, where we will see the fields, tools used at the grapes picking and you will enjoy a magnificent tasting. - From there our second stop is Licor 43 Factory. There you will taste the shots of the different flavors of this liqueur, see the museum, visit the factory (if possible) and taste the cocktail Giger Ale 43. - After the visit we go back to the city and I can drop you off at the city center if you want to continue discovering the city by yourself (it is 10-12 min walking away from the terminal) or we finish next to the terminal of cruiseships, as you wish.
