Hi dear traveller!!! My name is Pedro David and I was born 36 years ago in one of the most beautiful lands of Europe: The South East of Spain. I love my hometown, Mazarrón, as well as the stunning cities around: Cartagena, Murcia, Alicante, Almería and Valencia. I have been always interested in the fabulous history of this wonderful piece of land, full of traditions and open minded people. The Region of Murcia, together with their neighbouring provinces of Almería, Alicante and Valencia are waiting for you to come and discover their jewels, monuments, natural places and hidden corners which are going back more than 3000 years to the very beginning of human existence in the area. People say I am a passionate guide who loves showing my homeland to others. Also as I am a native-guide I can offer all my experience (around 10 years) to make yours definitely unique and worthy. Cartagena is one of the oldest cities of the whole mediterranean coastline, so this tour is going to show you the highlights of this fascinating city. We are going to go back on time more than 2300 years to see the oldest remain standing in the city: The Punic Wall. The punic people, or carthaginians are the ones who founded our city and built the first defensive system of Cartagena which for sure will impress you. After knowing the origin, you will get to know the 600 years of Roman presence visiting the most important archaeological site of Cartagena, its stunning Roman Theater, which is going to make you feel like if you were in that same age, walking down the original steps like the romans did. After that we are going to see the Art Noveau buildings located in the downtown which are the result of mining at the outskirts of the city in the XIX Century and the prosperity brought by them. *This tour can be tailor made to focus on a specific age (Roman, medieval, art nouveau houses, etc).
Wonderful tour of Lisbon with Pedro! He picked our group of 4 up from the cruise terminal on his tuk tuk and showed us his city! Pedro was extremely knowledgeable sharing history and stories with us! And he’s got a great sense of humor!! We also enjoyed some local food; saw places with few tourists, and Pedro showed us where to buy authentic Lisbon tile. Fun day and highly recommend!!
Pedro spent four hours with us explaining the history and culture of Cartagena. The first portion of the trip was by van giving us a panoramic view. The remainder of the trip was on foot viewing current and historical sights. His English is excellent and he is very genial.

- Coming out of the terminal, a luxurious van will be waiting for you to get the first touch of the city through a panoramic drive around the downtown. - The 1st stop we are going to visit is the Punic Wall Museum to learn about the foundation of Cartagena, called Quart Hadast by the Carthaginians, and the wall built by them. - Our 2nd stop is going to be a wonderful vantage point where the whole city and natural harbor can be seen, where you will see why we are an important military city and the best postcard pictures can be taken. - From there we will move to the Downtown to walk inside the Roman Theater Museum where columns, capitels, altarpieces and different items from the roman period can be admired. - Once we have seen the Theater, a walk through the main street is compulsory to get delighted with the Art Noveau Houses and the City Hall Building. - And finally tips about shopping streets & tapas restaurants with a real Spanish touch will be given to ensure the best experience in your free time.
