I develop my job as a private licensed tour guide in Valencia, Alicante and Cartagena this marvellous piece of land bathed by the sun, watered by palm trees and full of history. Start this tour by meeting your expert guide who will introduce Cartagena with a panoramic drive. We will introduce the history of Cartagena visiting the Interpretation Center of the Punic Walls, one of the oldest archeaological rest in Cartagena. The best site in Cartagena under my opinion! We will have time for a panoramic drive into the main sites of the city, either modern or historical places. In Calle Mayor we will have a general idea about the modernism in Cartagena: The Town hall, the Cervantes house and the Great Hotel. Our last stop will be for the stunning Roman Theatre Museum visit, an spectacular site with more than 2000 years of history. Finish the tour tasting some local tapas and drinks, why not?¿
Wow! What a great experience. We loved spending the day with Jorge. He is incredibly knowledgeable, explained the history of the city, shared a wonderful lunch with us and made the day really fun. He has a great personality, is easy to be with and speaks great English. He was the best guide we had during our 11 day stay in Spain. If you get the chance you should book him!
Four of us took Jody’s tour of Cartagena. He is one of the best guides ever! His knowledge of the history of Cartagena as well as the background information was terrific. We booked him for a tour of Valencia the next day. Highly recommend him!!!
Our guide was excellent!. Our wheelchair had broken and he even brought a wheelchair that he had with him for her to use. He was very considerate of my wife's disability and got us as close as possible to the tourist attractions that we saw. His English is excellent and he has a lot of knowledge of the history of Cartagena . He is very personable and considerate. He was also very helpful in pushing my wife's wheelchair throughout the tour and made things as easy for us as possible. I strongly recommend him as a tour guide for Cartagena.
We had a wonderful tour of Cartagena with Jorge yesterday. He was an absolutely amazing guide with so much knowledge of the city and its history. He was so considerate on the walking part of the tour to go at the pace of one in our group who is 89 years old and goes at a slower pace. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with him and highly recommend Jorge as your guide to anyone visiting the city.
Cartagena is a small area to visit with lots of history. Jorge was able to take us to many of the old ruins around the city, many within walking distance of the ship in port but without a guide I don't think you would find some of them. A trip to the museum gave a good overview of the history of the city. A stop at the end of the tour for tapas was just the right way to top off the tour.
This was one of the best tours guides TBL has provided to us. Jorge is incredibly knowledgeable, gracious, charming, and articulate. Cartagena will always be a special place to us because of the time we spent there with Jorge.
