I know many of 30~50 years old restaurants for all cities in Korea. I used to live in Chicago, USA for over 11 years and graduated MBA in the U. S. I am an expert with food tours and historic sites, plus photography and I am happy to serve you next. In the legendary story of Jeju, a Long long long time ago, it was dark on Earth. One lady came to Jeju. Don't know where she came from. People called 'Seolmundaehalmang'. She was a giant human. The sea of Jeju was just her knee-deep. She liked to work. she brought some soil and created mountains, fields, and rocks in Jeju. Hallasan National park has 80 animals 200 birds 75 spiders 875 insects and about 2000 trees. There are a lot of wind, rock, and lady. There are no thieves, gates, or beggars. Because of geographical features, food, religion, and customs are very different than any other area. Rich or poor, hosts take care of guests with maximum hospitality. People trust and cooperate with each other by just seeing gate sticks. Flowers in spring, beaches in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, and snowscapes in winter, the changes of the island attract tourists. Based on the legendary story, I created this tour to tell you more of our heritage and for you to enjoy in great locations.
We had a wonderful time on Jeju Island, with 3 days of hiking and touring with Bill. Highlights were the Gwaneumsa Buddhist Temple (on Buddha's Birthday!), Seongsan Ilchulbong hike, Hawnyeo divers and Hallasan Volcano hike. Bill was very accommodating and happy to customize the days as we requested. He was knowledgeable about the Island, culture, and Korean society today.
Bill was a great guide. He had a tight time limit with us and used the limited time we had very wisely. Would recommend him, great guy with a good sense of humor
Having no idea of what we would find on Jeju (in our heads just a holiday resort), we were delighted to have our eyes completely opened to the diversity, culture and history of this beautiful island- thanks Bill for being a great tour guide and giving us such a memorable day!
I had an excellent tour with Bill as a solo traveller. He arrived promptly and took time to understand my interests and develop a customized itinerary including a Hallasan hike, key Eastern Jeju sites and Udo Island. He knows all the best places to eat and took me to some places I might not have gone to myself including a Buddhist temple and night market. He speaks English well and was happy to answer all my questions. His vehicle is comfortable and he is an excellent driver. Highly recommended!
Our tour guide, Bill, was wonderful and very knowledgeable about Jeju do. We unfortunately booked a tour of Jeju on a rainy foggy day but Bill adapted the tour so we were able to see many incredible sights and have lunch at a place that served the best pajeon I've ever tasted. Highly recommend Bill and this company!
Bill took us for one of our best meals in Korea to date - mackerel sashimi and fish soup...so yummy! Then he took time to take us to a tangerine farm for us to experience tangerine picking although it wasn't the season. He gave us our most memorable memory of hydrangeas that will stay for the longest time ��...Manor Blanc. And an added bonus, if you want to leave a very light carbon footprint...Bill's nifty Niro makes touring Jeju, a better experience ��

Girls in Jeju started practicing swimming when they were 7-8 years old. When they were 12-13 years old, they practiced swimming from shallow to deep by receiving a floating tube from their mother.
