If you don't visit Jeju Island, you can't say to your friends that you've been to South Korea! Jeju is the best jewel of nature Korea has to offer with seasonally different faces and culturally unique images. I'm Lydia, newly registered tour guide here in 2017 and a licensed tour guide for customized private tour with 8 year-professional experiences, living on this beautiful volcanic island. This is my own pick for a comprehensive 3 days tour of Jeju island, allowing you to discover the main highlights of the island. Jeju island is 3 times bigger than Seoul, so a 3-days tours is most recommended for you to fully explore the island. Basically, the tour should go on 3 parts of Jeju basis: west, south and east, each of which has its own features and different faces. You can visit iconic natural sites along with cultural touch and signature food, circling the island in my spacious and comfortable car. Background stories and technical information will be told at each destination. Often you may be bumped into by unexpected wonder and beauty of nature or warm-hearted locals. I can focus more in certain areas if you like! Just let me know what you want to visit and do and I will customize the itinerary according to your interests.
The 3 days on Jeju with Lydia was awesome. Had tons of fun watching the Haenyeo divers demomstration, even got to see where one of our favourite drama's was filmed đ Visited a lot of places, which was very interesting but best of all was the lava tubes and the various UNESCO sites. Best of all was the local food that we lunch at. What a treat.
My wife and I had an absolutely fabulous time on our Jeju Island tour with Lydia. In 3 days, she showed us so many things that we would never have seen, had we driven around ourselves. She knows the history, culture, and the best spots to go. Lydia was also very knowledgeable regarding the Haenyeo (woman divers). We were able to see many of these woman, either harvesting or selling their items along the seashore. Additional excursions included a Tea Plantation, markets, sampling âprickly pear ice creamâ (what a treat) and some fabulous restaurants. We really appreciated her excellent communication, as we started each day talking about the options of things to do and see. She was flexible if we wanted to spend more time in a certain place. Lydia was personable, punctual, spoke very good English and was an all-around great tour guide. She made our Jeju experience an EXCEPTIONAL one.
We had 3 great days with Lydia. She was enjoyable, knowledgeable and shared Jejuâs special places with us. Her van was clean and comfortable. She was very accommodating, concerned about our safety, food preferences and enjoyment. She selected 3 awesome lunch meals (local to the area) for us to enjoy. Do not hesitate to book with her!
I spent 3 wonderful days with Lydia exploring Jeju island. She is a delightful, kind, thoughtful, fun, generous person and very knowledgeable about the island - its history, its culture, its geology and all the interesting places to see and eat around the island. She was very conscientious and organized and thought carefully about our itinerary each day and discussed it with me each morning before we departed. By the end of our time together, it was like being with a close friend. Lydia is the best!!
We could not have asked for a better tour guide than Lydia Park. She was thoughtful, patient, knowledgeable, and engaging. She taught us much about the local culture, history, and geology. She chose delicious restaurants for lunch and the coffee shops she picked for a late-afternoon snacks had incredible views. Lydia listened to us and crafted our tour to meet our needs both spoken and inferred. She knew not just where to go but where to stand for the best views and photos. Best tour guide ever.
